Skill

"What a leader learns after he has learned it all counts most of all."

Think about each of your development as leaders. You learned the rules of the sport, you watched others play it, you even got in the pool and practiced swimming with the ball, passing, shooting, etc. But you all have developed into team leaders because you see the big picture. You see the your team as one unit, you know where the ball is, you know where it should be, you have learned to communicate to your team so they are effective. And you have learned to motivate your team both in and out of the water. These are skills that transfer well beyond the sport and into your lives beyond high school and college water polo. I am so proud of you for learning these skills.
