"Success is the peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best to which you are capable."

Competitive Greatness

"A real love for the hard battle, knowing it offers the opportunity to be at your best when your best is required."

A good example is the beautiful shot Clay made in the big game this past weekend.  Cross-cage, bullet fast and straight, high corner, after pulling the goalie off center. Showing your best when it was required. The win is just being in the battle.  Doesn't matter that big "W" win didn't result. You did your best and love being there with adrenaline flowing but in control. This is the feeling you get throughout life when you are doing your best in everything you do.
