Newport Boys Looked Strong Over Bruins

The Sailors started slow but came on after the first quarter to beat LB Wilson Bruins, 10-3. Daily Pilot covered the game. All teams: Novice, Frosh/Soph, JV and Varsity - looked strong last night scoring well and applying smothering defense.

As of Sept 15, OC Varsity has Newport ranked No. 5 in
standings before the win against LB Wilson.
(Improvement over the coaches preseason poll that placed Newport No. 9.)
